Services
Our services are tailored to your child’s needs, from initial consultation and assessment to personalised intervention and ongoing review. We work closely with families and educational settings to provide practical, meaningful support.
Step 1: Initial Consulation
A friendly phone call to explore your child’s strengths and needs, and decide whether occupational therapy would be helpful. Together we’ll outline next steps, which may include assessment or therapy sessions.
Step 2: Choose Service
Once we’ve spoken, I’ll guide you through the options that best fit yours and your child's needs. Some families begin with an assessment, while others move straight into therapy or a focused consultation to support progress at home or in school.
Assessment
A detailed assessment to build a clear picture of your child’s strengths, needs, and the factors influencing their participation. This may include observation, standardised and play-based tools, and insights from home and school.
You’ll receive a written report with practical, tailored recommendations to support your child’s wellbeing and engagement in everyday life. Reports can also be written to contribute to EHCP applications or reviews.
Therapy Sessions
Therapy sessions are always personalised and playful, focusing on meaningful goals such as sensory regulation, motor skills, confidence, or independence.
Sessions are collaborative and practical, helping you and your child’s school use strategies consistently across settings to support progress.
Consultation
These sessions are ideal if you’d like to problem-solve specific challenges, explore new strategies, or build understanding around your child’s needs.
Consultations can be one-off appointments or part of ongoing support to help maintain consistency at home and in school.
Goal Setting
We’ll work together to set achievable, functional goals that matter to your child and family. Regular reviews help track progress and adapt plans as your child develops and grows.
Who is training for?
Training is aimed at parents, carers, teaching staff, SENCOs and other professionals who want practical strategies to support a child’s participation and regulation.
How training works
Initial discussion – we begin with a telephone consultation to identify the focus and outcomes you’d like from the session.
Format options – short, practical sessions for parents; staff workshops in-school; or remote training if preferred.
Outcome – you’ll leave with simple, usable strategies and resources tailored to your setting and the child’s needs.
